Arts & Culture
The Alliance for Arts & Culture works with area businesses and the City to enhance the quality of life in our community through artistic and culturally-based pursuits.
Parks
The Alliance for Parks is a group of like-minded individuals and organizations working together to enhance and encourage the use of parks and common green spaces, support park development and preservation.
Recreation
The Alliance for Recreation is working to engage people of all ages, abilities and incomes in healthy and enriching lifestyles and activities.

The Gaithersburg Parks, Arts and Recreation Corporation (GPARC) has three Alliances, one for each of the organization’s focus areas. The Alliances for Parks, Arts & Culture and Recreation provide increased opportunities for expanded & sustainable efforts in each of these vital interest areas. GPARC is a nonprofit organization that promotes awareness, engages public and private partnerships and raises resources to support new and matured parks, arts and recreation initiatives of the City of Gaithersburg. GPARC is an expansion of the former Gaithersburg Arts and Monuments Funding Corporation, a charitable organization whose mission was to heighten the awareness of revitalization and arts initiatives within the City of Gaithersburg and to raise funds and use those funds to support those programs and initiatives.
