Native Plant Sale
Be an environmental hero—Go Native!
We partner with the Muddy Branch Alliance each spring to make native plants available to residents of our Gaithersburg community. Native plants not only transform your yard into a blooming oasis but they also support birds and butterflies, protect local streams and inspire a wave of action across your community. Most importantly, native plants will make your yard beautiful too!

Working TOGETHER to Build Equity, Knowledge, and Accessibility in Gaithersburg’s parks!
The Alliance for Parks is a group of like-minded individuals and organizations working TOGETHER and with area businesses and the City of Gaithersburg to ensure all citizens know the parks that are available for use and enjoyment throughout in the City of Gaithersburg.
TOGETHER we help the community to:
- Find Your Park: The GPARC Alliance for Parks is working on mapping all City parks and the trails that connect them through the Explore! Gaithersburg initiative;
- Connect with Your Park: The GPARC Alliance for Parks launched a Youth Public Art Program to engage young artists to create and install trail markers, and care for our parks through regular cleanup events.
- Fund our Parks: Align resources to provide opportunities and capital improvements that benefit our parks and the greater community;
